The excitement, the tension, the most unpredictable league to predict. The championship returns on the 8th of August when Birmingham play Ipswich at St Andrews.
The EFL Championship is hard to predict due to its financial parity, frequent managerial changes, intense fixture congestion, and unpredictable form swings. Teams are often evenly matched, and surprise results are common.

Derby County: While the 2024/25 was an underwhelming season for the club. John Eustace is a very well respected manager and has been linked with many big clubs such as Rangers and Coventry City.
Personal Thoughts
23 Bristol City: Although Liam Manning left to join Norwich City, I believe they have enough quality players such as Scott Twine, Anis Mehmeti, Max Bird and Rob Dickie to push on this season and maintain the high standards set last season.
8 Wrexham AFC: Although Wrexham have had an amazing rise to success and they are backed by Celebrities Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. I don't think there squad is nowhere near good enough to challenge for play offs.
6 Hull City: Hull City have some talented players, however they are not performing well enough to push play offs. 4 points from 5 games in the final games of the season as the club finished in 21st. many Championship Clubs have better squads than Hull City and many fans are predicting them to be outclassed by many championship club this season.
