Kepa’s arrival bolsters Arsenal’s goalkeeping options, bringing a wealth of experience from his time at Chelsea and loan spells at Real Madrid. At 30, the Spanish international has faced high-pressure situations in the Premier League, La Liga, and the UEFA Champions League, including a standout penalty save in Chelsea’s 2021 UEFA Super Cup triumph. His familiarity with the English game and prior relationships with some Arsenal players are expected to ease his integration into the squad.
