Former Tottenham Hotspur and Everton attacking midfielder, Dele Alli, could exit Europe in search of regular playing time as he hopes to play for England at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Once labelled as one of the most exciting young talent's in Europe, Alli's career didn't thread the conventional part.

Alli helped Spurs to a place in the UEFA Champions League final in 2019, but it's been downhill since then.

The 29-year-old joined Everton in 2021, and could only play 13 games in two seasons for the Merseysiders, although injuries delayed his growth as well.

Alli also had a spell in Turkey with Besiktas before heading to Como in Italy where he received a red card nine minutes into his debut, and didn't play any more minutes for the Italian side.

Still, the England midfielder mentioned a while back that he has a daily reminder to put the work in to make the Three Lions 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.

"I have a reminder on my phone every single day at 11 o'clock - World Cup 2026," Dele told Sky Sports.

"People will be like 'he hasn't played in a year' but that's my aim. I know where my level is."

In a bid to keep his dream on track, the former MK Dons man might be on the move again.

As per GZH, Dele has been offered to Brazilian club, Gremio. However, Dele’s wage demands could be too high for Porto Alegre side.

Alongside, the club are looking to limit risk-taking in the market following a string of unsuccessful signings in recent years.

Bar Gremio, there hasn't been a lot of interest in Dele Alli, thus meeting his World Cup dreams with a big question mark.

Still, it'll be interesting to see where he ends up when the transfer window shuts.
