Building On West Ham Positives
After a much needed win over West Ham last time out, Leeds now turn their attention to a challenging trip to Brighton this weekend. It promises to be a tough test on the south coast, especially against a team in strong home form, but the Whites will be eager to build on the momentum and take some of the confidence from that performance into this clash, with hopes of bringing more points back to Elland Road.

Press Conference Insights
Ahead of the trip to Brighton, Daniel Farke provided a positive update in his pre-match press conference. The Leeds boss confirmed that his entire squad is available, with no fresh injuries or illnesses to report.
Willy Gnonto, who has been side-lined with a hernia, has now completed his first full week of training and is fit enough to be included in the matchday squad, likely starting from the bench.
Farke also offered reassurance over Gabriel Gudmundsson’s recent knock, saying: “Thankfully it was just a bruise, nothing major. He’ll be back to full fitness and available. He’s been excellent so far, credit to his character, he always comes back stronger and delivers top performances.”

Farke was also full of praise for former Leeds attacker Georginio Rutter, who will be facing his old club this weekend:
“He was a joy to work with, he always wanted to improve and progress. He’s an important player for them and developing into a star at this level. I don’t want to praise him too much because we want to make sure he doesn’t shine too much,” Farke joked.
The Leeds boss added that he’s looking forward to catching up with his former player after the match, saying he’ll ''give him a hug'' once the final whistle blows.

Possible Line-Up
Leeds’ previous outing against West Ham saw Daniel Farke make four changes to his starting line-up, with Perri, Bijol, Tanaka and Okafor all handed starts. The reshuffle paid off, delivering an improved performance and a vital win. The big question now is whether Farke will stick with a winning formula at the Amex, or use the luxury of a fully fit squad to freshen things up once again.

What To Expect
Brighton have been strong on home soil so far this season, remaining unbeaten in their four league games at the Amex with two wins and two draws. In contrast, Leeds have found life tougher on the road, picking up just one win from four away fixtures. Leeds will be eager to find some consistency, and if they can build on the positives from the West Ham performance, they’ll fancy their chances of taking something back to Elland Road.
