Mohamed Kudus Has The Final Say As Tottenham Defeat Leeds
Mohamed Kudus takes a seat after scoring at Elland Road.

In the pouring West Yorkshire rain, Leeds and Tottenham would take to the stage at Elland Road. After 24 minutes, Spurs would find themselves through after a great pass from Mohamed Kudus, which would eventually find Mathys Tel who would fire a deflected strike past Karl Darlow and into the top corner to hand Tottenham the lead.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin almost levelled things up but fired his effort over the bar. In the 34th minute, The Whites equalised. Jayden Bogle put a dangerous ball in the area which found Calvert-Lewin who played the ball nicely to a waiting Brenden Aaronson on the edge of the box who struck an effort which was saved by Vicario. But his parried save would find Noah Okafor inside the box who would tap it home to bring Leeds back into it. Tottenham would threaten again before the halfway point with Wilson Odobert crossing a ball into the box which found Mathys Tel's head, and his headed effort thrashed against the crossbar.

Half Time: Leeds United 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur

With both sides heading into the second half unchanged, Leeds would cause trouble early. Calvert-Lewin was played through by Noah Okafor and his effort forced a big save from Vicario. After plenty of Leeds pressure, Spurs took the lead once more through Mohamed Kudus as he drove a low deflected effort which sent Karl Darlow the wrong way and ended up in the bottom right corner sending the Spurs loyal into ecstasy. As Leeds surged for another equaliser, Farke would bring on Nmecha, Piroe, Harrison and Tanaka. After a bit of build up play, Leeds would come close again through Joel Piroe who came close but Vicario saved the day again. Leeds would have one more chance which would be through Pascal Struijk, his header just couldn't find the target.

Farke's Opinions.

Some Words From The Boss:

'You want points, this is why we play football and for that we are disappointed. I can't just pray for results. We were the better side today, better in all aspects. But we played today against one of the top sides in the country, who are in the top 4 and play Champions League. We have to be a bit more clinical going forward and I hope that every strike isn't going to be a deflection. Football is decided by goals'.

Words From DCL:

'It was a frustrating afternoon. There were chances that myself and others would've put away another day, ultimately this is the Premier League so you get punished. I think we should've got a better result against Bournemouth and we went into this game with confidence. So far I think we've showcased we can compete and we've done well against Newcastle and Tottenham who are top sides. It's a long season. There are 31 games left and 31 chances for us to get 3 points.'
