Brentford’s move to secure the services of Hutchinson has hit a snag. According to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Brentford submitted a £35m bid for the 21-year-old attacking midfielder, but the offer was rejected as it failed to meet the payment terms required to trigger his release clause. The clause has now expired.
Hutchinson is said to be keen on the move, following Ipswich's relegation. It remains to be seen if Keith Andrews' side will return with an increased offer for the highly-rated youngster.
