Rangers are closing in on the loan signing of Mikey Moore from Tottenham Hotspur, with optimism growing that all terms will be finalised before the end of the week. The agreement would see Moore join on loan until June 2026, with no option to buy, and Spurs set to cover the player’s wages in full.
The final approval is expected soon, and sources suggest Moore is enthusiastic about the move and keen to be part of the ongoing project at Ibrox.

Russell Martin: "He's a Really Good Player"
Rangers head coach Russell Martin has spoken positively about the teenage winger, describing Moore as “a really good player” and hinting that he’d welcome the addition.
While remaining cautious not to confirm the deal outright, Martin told reporters ahead of Rangers' Champions League qualifier against Panathinaikos:
“As soon as it’s done, you’ll be the first guys to know. There’s lots of players we like, lots that we’re linked to.”
He added that any new signings must be the right fit for the team as they continue to strengthen the squad.
Moore’s Rising Reputation
At just 17 years old, Mikey Moore is already a familiar name to Spurs fans. He made headlines in 2024 when he became Tottenham’s youngest ever Premier League player, debuting at age 16. Since then, he’s made 21 first-team appearances, including five Europa League games, scoring his first senior goal against Elfsborg last season.
Capable of playing on either wing or centrally, Moore brings versatility and attacking flair — qualities that could prove valuable for Rangers in both domestic and European competition.
England Youth International with Eye-Catching Stats
Moore has also made an impression on the international stage. He’s represented England at U15, U16, U17, and U19 levels, scoring 21 goals in 39 appearances. That includes four goals in four games at the U17 European Championship in Greece last summer.
Rebuild in Full Swing at Ibrox
Moore could become the eighth signing of the summer at Ibrox, following an active transfer window under the club’s new American ownership. Russell Martin has made it clear that more additions are likely before the window closes:
“We still have a few areas to strengthen, and we’re looking for more depth. Some areas are more obvious than others, but we’ll only bring in the right players.”
