Barnsley FC
Founded in 1887, Barnsley FC ("The Tykes" or "The Reds") is a professional English club based in South Yorkshire. Known for a rich history as one of the oldest clubs in the Football League, they are famous for winning the FA Cup in 1912. They play at the 23,000-capacity Oakwell Stadium, a traditional home for a side historically rooted in the second tier, with a record number of seasons spent there. Currently in League One, they are known for young talent & having a passionate community fanbase.
