Rotherham United, nicknamed "The Millers," is a pro club in South Yorkshire, formed in 1925 by merging Rotherham County and Rotherham Town. Playing at the 12,021-capacity New York Stadium since 2012, the team competes in League One. Known for red and white kits, they have historically bounced between the second and third tiers, winning the League Cup runners-up spot in 1961 and EFL Trophy titles in 1996 and 2022. The club is often termed a "yo-yo" side due to frequent promotions/relegations.
