FC Utrecht
FC Utrecht is a Dutch professional football club based in Utrecht that competes in the Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football. The club was founded in 1970 as a merger of three local clubs (VV DOS, USV Elinkwijk, and Velox) and is one of only four teams to have never been relegated from the top flight.
Known as the "Cupfighters," they play their home matches at the Stadion Galgenwaard and have won the national KNVB Cup three times (1985, 2003, 2004) and the Johan Cruyff Shield in 2004.
