Taylor Swift names Real Madrid in a song from her latest album
"They want a contract with Real Madrid," she says in one of her songs.

Taylor Swift has unveiled her new album The Life of a Showgirl, a 12-track project that already had more than six million pre-saves on Spotify before its release.

Songs Inspired by Love and Luxury

Several tracks on the album reference her relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce. However, one song, Wi$h Li$t, unexpectedly brings Real Madrid into the spotlight, linking the Spanish giants to themes of luxury and aspiration.

Real Madrid Name-Dropped in Lyrics

In Wi$h Li$t, Swift sings: “They want that freedom, to live outside the system. They want those three dogs they call their children. And that good surfing, without hypocrites. They want it all. They want a contract with Real Madrid.”

Swift’s Connection to the Bernabéu

The singer is no stranger to the Santiago Bernabéu. In 2024, she performed two sold-out concerts at the stadium, which drew massive crowds and reinforced her ties with Madrid and its iconic football venue.
