Real Madrid could soon welcome back one of their key players. Trent Alexander-Arnold is close to being available for Xabi Alonso ahead of the much-anticipated Clásico against Barcelona next Sunday, October 26, at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Recovery Progress on Track
The English full-back suffered an injury on September 16, with an initial recovery timeline of six to eight weeks. Since then, Trent has been working tirelessly at Valdebebas to meet his goal of returning in time for the Clásico — and it now appears he is on the verge of achieving it as per Mundo Deportivo.
🚨 Both Dani Carvajal and Trent Alexander-Arnold are in the final stages of their recovery processes.

Real Madrid Begin Preparations for Juventus Clash
While Trent continues his final phase of recovery, the rest of the Real Madrid squad began preparing on Monday morning for their upcoming Champions League fixture against Juventus, set for Wednesday at 21:00 CET at the Bernabéu.
According to Real Madrid’s official website, the players who started against Getafe focused on recovery work in the gym. The rest of the squad trained on the pitch, beginning with activation drills featuring deceleration and mobility exercises. They then moved into rondos, crossing and finishing sessions, and concluded with tactical work followed by small-sided matches.
