Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka has reached an agreement in principle to extend his contract with the North London club until 2030, according to French outlet RMC Sport. The deal, which has been under negotiation for several months, is now in its final stages, and an official announcement is expected in the coming weeks.
Talks accelerated after reporter Fabrice Hawkins said on X that the sides were close to completing the extension. Arsenal intend to finalize the contract before the end of 2025, with roughly six weeks remaining before the New Year.

Despite interest from several top European clubs, the England international made clear he had no plans to leave his boyhood side. Saka has become one of Arsenal’s most influential players as the team pushes to end its Premier League title drought dating back to 2004.
The 24-year-old has maintained strong form this season, scoring six goals in 14 appearances across all competitions. Last season he recorded 12 goals and 14 assists, bringing his career totals to 76 goals and 71 assists in 277 matches for the Gunners.

The winger has won one FA Cup and two FA Community Shields, and club officials hope securing his long-term future will help propel Arsenal toward major silverware after a five-year trophy gap.
Arsenal have also targeted progress in the Champions League, a competition they have never won. Manager Mikel Arteta has assembled a squad considered capable of challenging in Europe, and Saka’s new deal would further strengthen the club’s long-term project.
