It’s looking a bit same old for the Toffees and pre-season depression has already started. Everton badly need an injection of talent but one thing we don’t need is the same old last minute desperation loans, but what other options are possible?

Grealish may or may not come, we’ve got Barry (so what) and Aznou (unproven tbh), and that’s it. It’s a nap now that we’re gonna start the new season as badly as we’ve started the previous and we’ll be dragged into a relegation fight from the off. Everton fans are rightly fed up and already feeling a boo or three brewing up. The acoustics at the HDS should be great for our traditional chorus of appreciation.
The preseason performances have been woeful, 2 goals in 4 games, 7 conceded and not a single hint of anything new in the style of play. Man U beckons on Sunday and it don’t look good. Moyes has to make changes for this last game, Barry is gonna have to start alongside Ndiaye and Alcaraz if theres any creativity to be had. Defence has to improve and Tarky is key to this.
Let’s just see what happens before getting too cynical. Come on Blues give us something to inspire us. Moyesie needs a result and a head full of ’Just for Gingers’ whilst a good look is not enough. UTFT
