Manchester United are set to rival Juventus in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain and France forward Randal Kolo Muani, according to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport. The 26-year-old striker, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Juventus, is expected to be on the move again this summer as PSG prepares for a potential permanent sale.
Kolo Muani joined PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023 for a fee reported to be in excess of €80 million, but the Frenchman struggled to find consistent form in Paris. After failing to secure a regular starting role under manager Luis Enrique, he was loaned to Juventus in January 2025, where he quickly impressed—scoring eight goals in 16 Serie A appearances and helping the Bianconeri secure Champions League qualification.

Juventus are keen to make the move permanent and reportedly hold a degree of priority in negotiations with PSG. However, the Ligue 1 giants are said to be seeking a fee in the region of €40–45 million, and no agreement has been reached yet.
Now, Manchester United have entered the frame. With Ruben Amorim looking to reinforce his attacking options, the Red Devils see Kolo Muani as a versatile forward who could add pace, mobility, and finishing prowess to their front line. United have been monitoring the player for some time, having also shown interest during his stint at Frankfurt.
United’s entry into the race could complicate matters for Juventus. While the Italian club has the advantage of already having the player integrated into their squad, United could offer a more lucrative financial package to both PSG and the player.
With several clubs now circling, the battle for Kolo Muani is heating up. PSG appear intent on securing a permanent deal to recoup part of their investment, while Juventus will look to build on the progress made during his loan spell. Manchester United, however, may see this as an opportunity to strike quickly and secure a dynamic attacking option before the new season begins.
