We are back for the third edition of out on loan where I review the performances of a few of the players that are currently out on loan from Chelsea. It was another exciting weekend for a few of Chelsea's talented loan players with more stand out performances that will excite the fans.
Kendry Paez
The standout performance of the weekend undoubtably goes to the very exciting youngster Kendry Paez. The Strasbourg attacker scored his first goal for the club over the weekend in a 3-2 win against FC Paris. The goal was a well taken header with the midfielder arriving late in the box. Chelsea signed Kendry when he was just 16 years old and has a lot of hype around his name.
Fans have been waiting years to really see what he can do in one of the top 5 leagues. He got his opportunity in France with a loan move to Strasbourg and has hit the ground running now scoring his first goal for the club. I am looking forward to seeing how he builds from this performance and hopefully it is the first of many goal involvements to come for the youngster.

He is going to be a fantastic addition at Chelsea next summer, a proper alternative to Palmer in the middle.

Penders and Sarr
Mike Penders and Mamadou Sarr both featured for Strasbourg alongside the aforementioned Kendry in the 3-1 win against FC Paris. The pair of them played 90 minutes and contributed to the win with both respectively making some crucial tackles and saves. It is a big positive that they feature heavily for Strasbourg on a week in week out basis.
It is important for loan players to play as many minutes as possible and right now both of them are doing an exceptional job. Considering Chelsea's struggles at the back to start the year I would not be surprised if Sarr gets recalled to join up with the squad in the January transfer window.
Mamadou Sarr is going to come back to Chelsea like Saliba did at Arsenal after 2 years in France.

Only issue is we could really do with him right now, can play as a Centre Back on any side or CCB.
Sorry Strasbourg, loan ends in January.

Round up
Overall this past weekend was another exciting one for the Chelsea youngsters out on loan. Kendry scoring his first goal for Strasbourg was the highlight of the weekend and I am excited to see what he can do this coming weekend.
A name that was not mentioned in this edition was the other young centre back Aaron Anselmino. He is still recovering from an injury but hopefully we will see him back in the Borussia Dortmund squad this weekend. Check back in next week for the next edition of Out on loan.
