QPR have agreed a deal to sign South African centre-back Tylon Smith, according to West London Sport.
QPR are hoping to embark on a bright new chapter under the lead of French boss Julien Stephan.
The former Stade Rennais and RC Strasbourg manager is tasked with building on the solid foundations provided by Marti Cifuentes, who has now left the West London club for good after being placed on gardening leave just before the end of the season.
The Hoops have struck some solid transfer business in the first month of the window but will have eyes on more additions, and it seems one player set to come through the door is youngster Tylon Smith.
According to a report from West London Sport, QPR have agreed a deal to sign 20-year-old centre-back Tylon Smith from South African club Stellenbosch FC.The young centre-back is set to link up with the R’s after making a name for himself at the U20s Africa Cup of Nations. He was voted the Player of the Tournament as his South Africa side went on to lift the trophy.
