Newly promoted Sunderland are set to further bolster their young squad with experienced players by signing former West Ham United left-back Arthur Masuaku, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

Arthur Masuaku is currently a free agent, after his contract at Turkish giants Besiktas expired over the summer. The Congolese defender spent the majority of his career at West Ham, making 128 appearances for the London side across six seasons.
Masuaku joins a deep full-back corps at Sunderland, including Reinildo, Dennis Cirkin, Trai Hume, Niall Huggins, Aji Alese, Leo Hjelde, and Timothee Pembele.
