Burton Albion
Burton Albion Football Club, nicknamed "The Brewers" due to the town's brewing heritage, is a professional football club in Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire, formed in 1950. They have traditionally been a non-league side, but achieved a historic rise to the Championship, the second tier of English football, in 2016. They play at the 6,912-capacity Pirelli Stadium, having moved from Eton Park in 2005. The club is known for its community focus and, as of 2024–25, plays in League One.
