Lincoln City
Lincoln City Football Club, nicknamed "The Imps" after a local cathedral legend, is a professional English team based in Lincoln. Founded in 1884, they were a founder member of the Football League Second Division in 1892. They play home matches at the 10,669-capacity LNER Stadium (Sincil Bank) and compete in EFL League One, the third tier of English football. A notable recent achievement was reaching the FA Cup quarter-finals as a non-league side in 2017.
