Fulham v Manchester United - Match Preview
Ruben Amorim after Arsenal defeat.

After a promising defeat at the hands of Arsenal, Manchester United travel away to Craven Cottage to look to claim their first three points of the season against Fulham.

Transfers and Injuries

The Red Devil's squad looks likely to stay the same as they did against Arsenal with no new transfers (yet) and Noussair Mazraoui and Lisandro Martinez remaining out of the squad due to injury.

The same can be said with Fulham, after a disappointing transfer window their squad is expected to remain the same with one of their best player's Antonee Robinson a doubt for the game due to knee surgery back in May.

Manchester United predicted starting XI

Predicted Manchester United XI

Man United will be looking for revenge against The Cottagers after being knocked out the FA Cup by them the previous season.

In my opinion, I see a few changes appearing in the Reds' starting lineup with Bayindir's game-costing mistake against Arsenal, I expect Onana to be reintegrated into the squad after returning from Injury.

After a encouraging preview of the bench, I foresee Amad claiming the right wing back position ahead of Diogo Dalot with Amorim looking to go more attacking against Fulham.

Finally, last but definitely not least, I see Manchester United's new 6'5 striker, Benjamin Sesko ready to lead the line for the M16 club as the gaffer attempts to intergrate him into the starting 11.

Fulham's predicted Starting XI

Predicted Fulham Line up

I also see a few slight changes up top for Fulham. With Muniz to start up front after his injury time leveller against Brighton in Gameweek 1. And also former Arsenal midfielder Smith-Rowe to return to the starting XI ahead of 18 year old Joshua King.

Final Prediction

I anticipate a tight Manchester United 2-1 win against Fulham. With it being the first home game of the season for Fulham, I expect a bouncing Craven Cottage won't make it easy for the Reds' but i expect the quality of new players like Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo to shine through and carry Man United to victory.
