Leeds United are ready to rival Sunderland and Manchester United for the signing of Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens.
Gazet van Antwerpen report that Lammens has several options, including those three Premier League clubs. Antwerp want €20m for the Belgium U21 international.
Leeds United reportedly came close to signing Lammens in 2023.
Who is Senne Lammens?
Senne Lammens, born on July 7, 2002, in Zottegem, Belgium, is a highly-rated goalkeeper who has progressed through the ranks of Belgian football. A product of Club Brugge’s youth academy, Lammens made his senior debut for the club before moving to Royal Antwerp in 2023. Standing at 6’4”, he combines commanding presence with agility, quick reflexes, and a modern goalkeeper’s ability to play out from the back—a trait highly valued in today’s game.
Lammens has earned plaudits for his performances in the Belgian Pro League, where he has showcased his potential despite being in the early stages of his senior career.
🇧🇪🧤 No goalkeeper in the world has made more saves (177) or prevented more goals (16.47) than Senne Lammens (Antwerp, 22) this season.

Leeds United’s Goalkeeping Situation
Leeds United’s current first-choice goalkeeper, Illan Meslier, had been a mainstay since 2020. However, Farke's decision to drop him during the run-in for Karl Darlow spoke volumes. Meslier had been underperforming for a long time and change was necessary.
With Leeds gearing up for the fight to cement themselves as a Premier League side and avoid relegation in the upcoming season, a reliable option between the sticks is a necessity.
