The summer transfer window of 2025 is heating up, with a host of Premier League clubs vying for the signature of Borussia Monchengladbach’s talented left-back, Lukas Ullrich.
According to an exclusive report from TBR Football, Tottenham Hotspur and Leeds United are among the frontrunners to secure the 21-year-old’s services, with Crystal Palace, Everton, Brighton, and Nottingham Forest also closely monitoring the situation. Ullrich’s standout performances in the Bundesliga last season and his current involvement in the U21 European Championships with Germany have only intensified interest in the young defender.
Lukas Ullrich’s meteoric rise at Borussia Monchengladbach has been one of the standout stories of the 2024-25 Bundesliga campaign. The young left-back made 33 appearances for Die Fohlen, establishing himself as the club’s first-choice left-back ahead of fellow prospect Luca Netz. Ullrich’s performances earned him a nomination for Gladbach’s Player of the Season award, with manager Gerardo Seoane praising the 21-year-old’s development, noting, “Lukas has made some huge strides forward this season.”
