Who is Jhon Arias?
Jhon Arias is a 27 year-old Colombian international who predominantly plays as a right-winger. Joining Fluminense in 2021 on a free transfer, Arias has gone on to play 229 games for them, scoring 47 goals and 55 assitst. Last season he racked up 34 appearances in all competitions, scoring 4 goals and 12 assists.
Arias is a versatile player, who can play across the front three. Wolves will be hoping he can add some goals and creativity for next season following the sale of Matheus Cunha to Manchester United earlier in the window.
Where will he fit in?
Finishing in 16th place in the Premier League last season, Wolves heavily relied on Cunha for his goals. With Arias closing in and Jørgen Strand Larsen loan move being made permanent, Vitor Pereira will be hoping that the two of them can combine to improve on that 16th place finish.

Pereira utilised a wing-back system last season, with Arias having a high work rate, a trait that is crucial under his new manager, he will likely play down the right-hand side. Equally, due to his versatility he could play in the role Cunha occupied last season, with the Wolves supporters hoping he replicates his form. With the recent outgoings, it was essential for Wolves to secure someone like Jhon Arias.
