Wolves have been linked with several exciting names this summer, and each one could add something different to the squad. From creative wide players to proven defenders, here's why these potential signings make sense.
Juanlu Sánchez - Sevilla
Sevilla want £17 million plus a sell-on clause for Juanlu Sánchez, a fee which Wolves have already offered, according to Fabrizio Romano; however, the player is favouring a move to Napoli, who have had a bid of £14.7 million rejected by Sevilla. The 21-year-old made 35 appearances in all competitions for the Spanish side last season, scoring five goals and providing five assists. Sànchez's ability to get forward and deliver in the final third is exactly the profile of full-back that Wolves need following the departure of Nélson Semedo. He is also capable of playing as a right winger, making him a goalscoring threat and defensively capable. Time will tell if Wolves can get a deal over the line with Sánchez preferring a move to the Italian champions.
David Datro Fofana - Chelsea
At just 22, Fofana had shown flashes of what he is capable of despite limited opportunities at Chelsea. On loan at newly promoted Turkish Süper Lig club Göztepe, he made nine appearances, scoring two goals. He was recalled due to an injury in February 2025, keeping him out of action for the remainder of the season. He's quick, powerful and not afraid to take on defenders. For Wolves who have lost attacking options and more exits are likely, Fofana would bring in extra competition for Jørgen Strand Larsen.

Nicolò Savona - Juventus
Another right-back Wolves are looking at is Juventus' Nicolò Savona. Making 40 appearances for the Italian giants last season, he was deployed mainly as a right-back but was also used on the left and as a centre-back, making him a versatile option. He made appearances in both the Champions League and Club World Cup, giving him plenty of top-level experience at just 22. This experience could help him adapt quickly to the Premier League, someone who can slot straight in, but still has plenty of room to improve. Newcastle are also reported to be interested in signing Savona, so the Molineux outfit will face stiff competition from a team that can offer more Champions League football.
Ben Doak - Liverpool
Ben Doak spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough. The 19-year-old winger made 24 appearances in the Championship, scoring three goals and providing seven assists. His pace, dribbling, and direct style of play caused constant problems for Championship defences. Wolves and West Ham are both reportedly interested in signing Doak from Liverpool, who turned down £14/15 million bids from Ipswich and Crystal Palace in January, showing how highly the club value him. For Wolves, Doak could add the kind of unpredictability and creativity that can change games in an instant.
